Espresso Coffee Making $295
This course incorporates THHBFB12A: Prepare and serve espresso coffee

From latte to cappuccinos, from flat white to macchiato... this course covers
the basic skills and knowledge needed to extract and serve espresso coffee
using commercial equipment.The training includes :

 
A brief history of coffee
Selecting and grinding
Extracting Espresso
Texturing Milk
Organising and Preparing the Work Area
Service and Presentation
Cleaning and Maintaining Espresso Machines.
Now included with the course, the BARISTA TECHNIQUES training valued at $45.00 (retail).


1 day session: Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm

Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.
To gain a Certificate of Attainment in the Preparation and Service of Espresso Coffee you will be required to undertake 30 hours of Industry Experience, followed by a formal assessment at the Academy (cost $110).

Assessment Time: Mondays 4pm - 5pm
1 hour session : subject to demand .

4 hour session : Monday - Friday, 1.00pm - 5.00pm


Coffee at Home or in the Office, Coffee appreciation Cost: $195

Learn how to make coffee at home or in the office and what to expect when you are served coffee at a café or restaurant.The training includes:

Cultivation
Processing
Roasting
Blending
Storage

3 hour session : Saturday, 9.00am - 12.00noon .

Advanced Coffee Making & Management Cost: $385

This course incorporates THHADFB05B: Plan and monitor espresso coffee service

For people who know the basics and have experience in espresso coffee making.Discover more about the art of a truly great coffee and learn how to supervise or operate your own outlet.The training includes:

  Ordering
Equipment and Commodities
Appropriate Storage
Monitoring of coffee Services
Now included with the course, the BARISTA TECHNIQUES training valued at $45.00 (retail).
This class builds on the Espresso Coffee Making course and includes
substantial specialist knowledge of coffee, its history and presentation in a
variety of hospitality settings.

8 hour session : 9.00am - 5.00pm (including 1 hour assessment)
